I wanted to shoot something with a long exposure so that the quality of light would be a strip of light (sun moving across the sky), rather than just a dot in the sky. I think I'll need more than 2 hours to really get what I'm wanting.

(Even at f/64, iso 3, with a 10 stop ND filter on top of that, the exposure was only 2 hours. Usually reciprocity failure is a pain, but in this case it resulted in my image being underexposed, which means I can fit in another 2 stops or so and get the 8 hour exposure I've been wanting. Tomorrow, hopefully.)

  1. Maybe if you use a 74.6.3 gridget, a helixed microtap, and a 4A vern hot-speel open span, you will get the picture you want.
